Great display of basketball by our Tribe of 2023 at the Nike Phase 1 National Championships. These boys represented their great state of Texas in Tribe basketball fashion. Unfortunately, they came up 1 point short in 2 pool games and lost to the eventual champion by 5. In this game, sometimes the ball bounces the wrong way.

They mixed in a 73-51 victory in there to bring the average score of their games to 66.4-66.2. Not the outcome we desired, but nonetheless these young men continue to prove they can play on a national stage. The future for our program is bright because it’s led by this group of resilient fighters.
